The End
I can not believe that this class is over. It absolutely flew by! I really enjoyed the variety of texts that I read. I like to apply what I read to my life. I feel that I have learned a lot about myself through this whole process. I am looking forward to the gread things ahead! :)

LIFE
I related the novel, Mrs. Dalloway to the gift of life. Everyone on the Earth has been given life. I think it is interesting to look and see how people view their lives. Clarissa reveals that she could have married someone else, and her life could have ended up different. I think everyone has those life changing moments that determine your future. Hopefully, I have made wise decisions on my life journey. I try not to regret my decisions, but learn from them.

Lesson learned
I really enjoyed reading The Dead by James Joyce. The beginning seemed a bit slow to me, but I liked the ending. Gabriel learned a lesson that day. This is something I can relate to right now. It seems that I having been learning a lot lately (both good and bad!) , but I think it is important to learn a lesson and move on. I am going to take what I have learned and become a better person because of it. I think it would be interesting to see how Gabriel's life changes after he has his epiphany!

Goblin Market
Well, there was a lot of work to do this week. This is my last thing to do before I go to sleep:)
I thought that this poem was very interesting. It descirbes two females who are tempted by goblin men. There is a female hero which demonstrates women empowerment. There is symbolism throughout the poem, and I don't really know if I totally got all of it. This piece of literature really made me think about what the author was trying to say. Overall, I really like it!

Relationships
All of the readings this week were very interesting. I think that relationships was the main theme. (At least that is what I got out of it!) I was able to look at a wife you loves her husband and needs affirmation, and a wife who left her husband for pursuit of something she felt was more self-righteous. This has made me examine all of my relationships in life. I really charish the friends and family that I have. :) I am enjoying life and all of the people that are involvd in it.

Finally Sunday!
I am so glad that today is the beginning of a brand new week! Last week was one of the busiest weeks i have had in a long time. I finally had time to sit down and post today. I found Frankenstein to be a very interesting book. It was really not what I was expecting, which was refreshing (if that makes any sense).
Tomorrow is my b-day, but I have class- then work- then back to class until 8:40, so no celebrating for me. It's perfectly fine! I think my husband is buying me some shoes that I have wanted for a really long time!

Well, so far.....
So far I am definitely more comfortable posting and finding info for this class than I was with my first on-line class I took last semester. I am keeping up with all of the reading and trying to remember to post! This class has been interesting so far.
Well, my husband and I are going to take our dog for a walk before it gets too late. :)
